I'm a Harley-riding producer/photographer. 

 

   Originally from Sweden, I moved to Alabama when I was 7, where I lived through college.

   I moved to Los Angeles in 2008. Throughout my time in LA, I've worked as an actor, photographer, and producer. I wrote, directed, acted, and produced (to varying degrees) five shorts. I executive produced and acted in the feature film, Headgame, that came out in 2018.

​

   I bought my first motorcycle in 2014, and started taking photos to document my adventures. The first long ride I took was in New Zealand. I flew over, rented a motorcycle, strapped my tent, sleeping bag, and camera gear to the back, and spent the next month making my own adventure. It was a joy sharing my journey in photos and writings. 

 

   Since then, I have ridden (with Los Angeles as home base) out to Moab, Utah, up to Port Townsend, Washington, traveled in an expedition RIB up coastal British Columbia, experienced Cuba, joined the Women's March on Washington, and more...

    My motorcycle was the conduit to my freedom. I allowed adventure to penetrate my life in all aspects. I became more fearless and engaged in my life and in living.

    I'm a storyteller. I see photographs as silent short films. It's said that short films are harder to make, because you have to be extremely judicious with what makes it into the limited time allotted. Photographs are even more challenging. One frame must tell an entire story. But, that challenge is what makes photography such a thrill. 

​

    I was hired in 2017, to shoot the Race to Alaska, a 750-mile non-motorized boat race through the Inside Passage to Alaska. Which, in turn, led me to producing documentaries. Life is funny in the way it rolls along...

​

    Currently, I'm working on two documentaries. The first (which is in post production) is about the Race to Alaska. The second, is chronicling Karl Krüger's record breaking paddle through the Northwest Passage on a standup paddleboard. Both projects are pregnant with purpose. The purpose being to get people to go outside, explore, and create their own adventure (big or small).

    I have shot photos from a moving motorcycle, boat, dingy, horse, etc. Each location and vehicle presents its own adventure. I revel in the challenge of overcoming them in order to tell an inspiring story.
