After the election on Donald Trump, it felt important to document the protests that broke out around the country and the world. The Women's March on Washington was far larger than I thought possible, and, no matter your political leaning, was a sign that what the United States holds dear, the right of free speech, was alive an flourishing.

I watched men, in red hats reading Make America Great Again, that had come to Washington to support the President during his inauguration, having civilized dialogue with women in pink, pussy hats. It made me hopeful that our partisan country could come together, again..
